About me

My name is Linda Evans and I am a registered BACP Counsellor. If you are looking at this website, you may be considering counselling. People come to counselling for many reasons from anxiety and depression to addiction and from all walks of life.

Are you struggling at the moment? Do you want to be heard? Life will always have its ups and downs, sometimes it can be difficult to find a way out when we are feeling really down, and it’s not always easy talking about your innermost feelings with friends or family.

If you are looking for a counsellor, it is the first step to say that you may need a helping hand to make changes in your life, to be heard and heal. I aim to provide a safe counselling setting where you can share what you are going through and explore your deeper self in the hope that you can find ways to cope with your life’s struggles. Inviting into your life more self-compassion, acceptance and kindness.

I believe that we cannot forget the past and the way it has informed our lives but we can learn to live in the now and look forward to a brighter future.

I cannot promise that I can solve everything in your life, but I can help you to see it differently. I promise I will give you empathy, warmth and genuine care for you.

As an active member of the BACP, I work within their Ethical Framework ensuring clients receive the utmost safety, care and understanding.

I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
